American Girl is teaming up with country music star Megan Moroney for a new collection inspired by her signature style and current arena tour. More Entertainment News
The American Girl x Megan Moroney collection includes concert-inspired fashions and accessories for 18-inch dolls, including a pink sequined stage outfit, fan fashion, VIP accessories, and an iridescent guitar and microphone stand modeled after the one Moroney uses on tour.
“I’ve been an American Girl fan for as long as I can remember,” Moroney said in a release. “Getting to create a collection inspired by my own style feels like such a full-circle moment.”
The collection is designed around themes of creativity, confidence and self-expression, giving fans the chance to recreate concert looks and stage moments through play.
“At American Girl, we’re always looking for new ways to encourage girls to dream big and express who they are through play and fashion,” said Pamela Velarde, head of American Girl at Mattel.
The fashion and accessory collection launched August 5 through American Girl’s website and retail stores nationwide.
The collaboration will expand later this year with the debut of an American Girl x Megan Moroney 18-inch doll. The doll will be available exclusively through Target.com beginning November 22, followed by Target stores in early December.
The launch will also mark the first time American Girl 18-inch dolls will be sold at Target.
The Megan Moroney collection includes a stage outfit, fan fashion outfit, concert-ready accessories, VIP accessories and a guitar and mic stand set inspired by Moroney’s live performances.
