William Vernon Lemmons, age 86 of White House, TN passed away, Saturday, December 23, 2023 at White House Health Care & Rehab.
He was born April 10, 1937 in McKenzie, TN to Klester Vernon & Willie Myrtle Patterson Lemmons.
He worked as an auto parts manager for several car dealerships before his retirement. He enjoyed walking on the greenway, taking photos of nature and spending time outdoors. He tried his crafting skills with painting, glasswork as well as woodworking. He was a member of White House First United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Mary Deck, Louise Kapps and Dortha Goodell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carolyn, Lemmons, White House, TN; son, Michael (Leah) Lemmons, Springfield, TN; 2 grandchildren, Taylor Lemmons and Aiden Lemmons.
Funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 1 pm at White House First United Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at 3 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville, TN. Visitation is planned for Thursday, January 4, 2024 11 am until the time of the service at the church.
