Virgil “Lynn” Lassiter, age 73, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2024 at Stone Ridge Health Care in Goodlettsville.
Mr. Lassiter was born September 9, 1950, in Davidson County, to the late Virgil Lassiter and Annie Wilson Lassiter Hobbs.
He loved riding motorcycles, woodworking, canoeing and being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Lynn was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lassiter.
He is survived by a son, Travis (Shonell) Lassiter; daughters, Kimberly (Danny) Blevins, and Amanda (Roger) Goff-Butler; 3 grandchildren, Jackson Lassiter, Eli Lassiter, and Shelby Blevins; 1 great-grandchild, Ivy Waffird; brothers, Wendell (Irene) Lassiter, and Carl Lassiter; sisters, Lois Ann Clark, Drucilla “Chigger” (Stan) Duffer, and Vanessa (Mark) Tompkins; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Lassiter.
Lynn’s wishes were to be cremated and there will be a private family service at a later date.
