Stephen Brian “Bink” Binkley, 55, of Greenbrier, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his home.
Stephen was born November 8, 1969, in Covina, CA, to the late George and Patricia Strong Binkley.
He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1987. Stephen was the owner of the former Bink’s Bar and Grill in Springfield. He was a professional poker player, having played in Las Vegas, NV, Cherokee, NC, and Tunica, MS, as well as other places. Stephen won many tournament trophies and was a recipient of a WSOP ring. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Stephen is survived by his wife: Reyna Binkley of Greenbrier, by his daughters: Samantha Wright of Springfield, Sara (Reed) Derseweh of Greenbrier, Shelby (Bailey) Bennett of Nashville, and Madisyn (Brandon) Kizer of White House, by his sons: Desmond Wright of Greenbrier, Robert Bennett, III of Greenbrier, and Christopher Binkley Lane, by his grandchildren: Parker Wright, Sutton Derseweh, and Zane Bennett, by his sister: Kelley (Stacy) Harris of Cedar Hill, by his nieces: Korey Harris and Jessie Harris, and by his nephew: Kolby Harris.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Markham, Ricky “Tojo” Scharkley, and Kevin Hyde.
