Sandra Roshell Petties was born on August 11, 1963, and sadly passed away on June 26, 2023, in Springfield.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Sandra had a career as the Manager of McDonald’s, where she dedicated herself to providing excellent service and ensuring the happiness of both her employees and customers.

Sandra’s love and ability to raise her three boys and keep them in line while they were growing up was truly remarkable. She poured her heart into being a loving and supportive mother who always put her family first. Her memories will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to witness her unconditional love.

Sandra graduated from Springfield High School and carried her love for learning throughout her life. She instilled the importance of education in her children and encouraged them to pursue their dreams.

One of Sandra’s proudest accomplishments was becoming a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and delighted in spending time with them. Family gatherings filled with laughter and joy were some of her happiest moments.

In addition to her dedication to her family, Sandra enjoyed word searches, shopping, and listening to blues music. These hobbies allowed her to unwind and find peace in the simple pleasures of life.

On July 8, 2023, friends and loved ones will have an opportunity to pay their respects during the Visitation event held at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 4005 Memorial Blvd in Springfield, TN. The Visitation will begin at 11:30 AM. https://www.springfieldfh.com

Following the Visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place from 1:00 PM at the same location. This event will be a heartfelt tribute to honor Sandra’s remarkable life and the impact she had on those around her.

Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried on by her surviving family members including Her loving husband of 12 years and partner for over 30 years, James William Petties, her sons, Tremaine (Tango) Demumbrum, Travelle Demumbrum, and Tedrick (Chalanda) Demumbrum, a host of grandchildren who were the light of her life, her siblings, Charles Demumbrum, Betty Martin, and Lisa (James) Polk, nieces, nephews and cousins that will cherish her memory for years to come.

Sandra is preceded in death by her sibling, Willie Demumbrum, as well as her parents, James Lee Brewer and Helen Virginia Demumbrum.

During this difficult time, let us remember Sandra for the love she shared, the memories she created, and the impact she had on all those lucky enough to know her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
