Roger Dale Holt, age 78 of Clarksville, Tennessee died Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Park Meadows Post Acute in Clarksville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Friday, January 17th at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Gene Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery with Wayne Yates, T.C. Murff, Shawn Goff, Tim Lincoln, Johnny Head, and Jim Bryant serving as pallbearers. Braden Holt will serve as a honorary pallbearer.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 16th from 4:00-8:00PM, and again on Friday beginning at 10:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mr. Holt was born on March 14, 1946 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to the late Roy Roger & Johnnie Mitchell Holt. He was a U.S Army veteran serving in the Vietnam war and retired from State Industries. He competed in buck dancing and square dancing and was the leader of the State Stove High Steppers. Mr. Holt was a member of Stroudsville Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Mitchell and Preston Holt; and sister, Patsy Mai Holt.
He is survived by his children, Pam (Jim) Mason, Lisa Dale Gossett, and Jeff (Kelly) Holt; sister, Brenda Gayle (John) Holt; grandchildren, Veronica Paige Mason and Braden Holt; and companion, Judy Ledbetter.
