Micki Hutchison Hopkins, 65, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday February 23, 2025, at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. Her remains will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
Micki was born December 20, 1959, in Springfield. She worked as an assembly manager at Professional Bags and was of the Baptist faith. She loved playing bingo and watching TV. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. You never had to guess where she stood on any topic, because she always spoke her mind and told you exactly what she was thinking. She was preceded in death by her father: Henry Hutchison, by her mother: Mary Lou Adams Matthews, and by her siblings: Brenda Hutchison Pitts, Ronnie, Eddie, and Bobo Hutchison.
Micki is survived by her son: Greg (Marrisa Hunter) Hopkins of Springfield, by her daughter: Annie (Shavar) Hopkins-Cowherd of Louisville, KY, by her grandchildren: Cloey Beardsley, Isaiah Robles, Gavin Hopkins, Emmalyn Hopkins, and Jaxon Wilson, and by her brother: John Bailey Hutchison.
Services have been entrusted to Robertson County Funeral Home.
