Martha “FaFa” (Harmon) Woodham, 81, of Greenbrier, passed from this life on Friday, January 10, 2025, at NHC Healthcare Center in Hendersonville.

FaFa was born November 27, 1943, in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Leonard and Belle Holbert Harmon.

She taught school in Arkansas for many years, and then retired from Austin and Allen as an employment recruiter. FaFa was a member of Greenbrier United Methodist Church, where she was the founder of the church group JOY (Just Older Youth), and she was a member of the Eastern Star. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking, she loved painting pictures, was a great schoolteacher that influenced the lives of her students, and she loved her church. Above all, FaFa loved spending time with her family and with her friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Sherman Woodham, and by her sister: Amy Jo Chamblee.

FaFa is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Amy Woodham of Memphis, by her daughter and son-in-law: Wendy and Doug Speer of Greenbrier, by her grandchildren: Nick Woodham, Chelsea (Eric) Harper, Jessica Speer, and Anthony (Brittany) Speer, by her 8 great-grandchildren, by her brother and sister-in-law: David and Donna Harmon of Canton, TX, by her twin sister and brother-in-law: Mary and George Owens of Wynne, AR, and by a host of nieces, nephews, and family members.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 17th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Dr. Jason Wilkerson and Reverend Rita Hays officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Anthony Speer, Jordan Mills, Tyler Fugate, Ross Pendergrass, Tyler Pendergrass, Nick Davies, Michael Finch, and Luke Myer serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. https://www.robertsoncountyfuneralhome.com
