Kenneth “Kenny” Ray Harrington, Jr., age 74, of Nashville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Residence at Alive Hospice.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Tuesday, August 12th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Good Springs Cemetery in Pleasant View with Jared Thrower, Bart Davis, Rick Haley, Larry Borum, Brandon Biggs, Derek Dwyer, Jacob Dwyer, and Jeff Sharpe serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Glenn Watts, Mark Lewellen, Caleb Dixon, Steve Nunley, Lindsey Walker, and Joe Haley.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 11th from 5:00-8:00PM, and again on Tuesday beginning at 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Kenny was born on November 5, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Ray & Jean Harrington, Sr. He was a retired draftsman having worked for Consoer Townsend & Associates, Hendersonville Water Department, and Metro Nashville Water & Sewer. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion and a Mason. Kenny was an adventurer who loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and Corvettes. He enjoyed spending time at the lake home on Center Hill where he liked to boat and fish. He enjoyed driving race cars and also was a fan of NASCAR. Kenny was a Christian.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronnie Oeser; and nephew, Sean Ford. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen Webb Harrington; daughter, Tanya (Bart) Davis; sister, Brenda Harrington Oeser; grandchildren, Zoe Gene Davis Thomas (Caleb) and Madilyn “Madi” Claire Davis; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends; and kitty babies, Little Baby Mama Kitty & Baby Girl.
