William “Billy” Anthony Martin, age 54 of Springfield, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o’clock pm, Monday, August 25th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with his sister, Rev. Jesse Fleck & Rev. Katie Woodard officiating. Timmy Long, Vince Warner, Brien Warren, John Brown, Donnie Hall, and James Sanders will serve as pallbearers and his remains will be cremated following the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 25th from 1:00PM until the hour of service at 4:00PM.
Billy was born on February 26, 1971 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late James Wilson Martin and Shirley Ann Martin. Billy was employed by C.O. Christians & Sons for over 25 years as an electrician. With great enthusiasm, he engaged in hunting and fishing. His love for riding his Harley motorcycle was evident. He also appreciated four-wheeling, off-road dirt bike riding, and camping. Cooking and grilling were his fortes, and he took pleasure in entertaining and feeding others. Distinctively, his kitchen included a Blackstone grill. He lived a rich, full life.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. Jesse Willard Brown and Beatrice Brown: sister-in-law, Terri Martin; and his fur son, Brutus. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Timmy (Emily) Long and Matt (Alisa) Jordan; daughter, Kerianne (fiance`, Vince Warner) Martin; brother, James Martin; sister, Rev. Jesse (Trevor) Fleck; grandchildren, Hunter Long, Eli Long, and Maeve Jordan; and girlfriend, Renae` Jones.
