Early voting for the U.S. House of Representatives District 7 Special Primary Election will begin Wednesday, September 17, and run through Thursday, October 2, at six locations across Davidson County. Election Day is Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Voters in the Republican primary will choose between: Jody Barrett, Gino Bulso, Stuart Cooper, Adolph Agbéko Dagan, Mason Foley, Jason D. Knight, Joe Leurs, Stewart Parks, Lee Reeves, Matt Van Epps, and Tres Wittum.
Democratic primary candidates are: Aftyn Behn, Darden Hunter Copeland, Vincent Dixie, and Bo Mitchell.
On Election Day, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters must report to their assigned precinct. A government-issued photo ID will be required to vote, unless an exemption applies. Absentee voting by mail is available for qualified voters, and applications for absentee ballots must be received by the established deadline.
Officials are encouraging residents to check their voter registration status, confirm their assigned Election Day precinct, and review sample ballots ahead of time.
