Winfred Alvin Risinger, Jr. age 81 of Orlinda passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at his home. He was born February 16, 1944 in El Paso, TX to Winfred Alvin & Lena Ruth Cole Risinger, Sr.
He worked as a manager for Salt River Project until his retirement and he proudly served his country in the USAF. Mr. Risinger was a member of Amadeo Church in Queen Creek, AZ. He was a watercolor artist, a photographer and he enjoyed farming, barns, and spending time outdoors with nature.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Georgia Risinger, Orlinda, TN; son, James (Amanda) Risinger, Christiana, TN; daughters, Beverly (Doug) McCullough, Portland, TN and Cynthia (Scott) Avehart, Phoenix, AZ; brother, Bill (Patti) Risinger, Gainesboro, GA; 5 grandchildren, Rebecca, Jacob, Sierra, Shyanne and Jaden; one great grandchild, Matthew.
The family is planning a private family Celebration of Life to honor his life.
