The parks and recreation department is pleased to announce the opening of brand-new pickleball courts and newly resurfaced tennis courts at Garner Street Park, offering residents and visitors enhanced recreational opportunities. Residents can now enjoy two new pickleball courts, and five tennis courts, three of which are freshly resurfaced, at the park.
A new bathroom facility is also now open for use, and an ADA ramp connecting the pickleball courts as well as resurfaced ADA parking spots have also been constructed as part of the project.
Crews are still putting the finishing touches on the new inclusive playground at the park. Stay tuned to the city’s Facebook page for the ribbon-cutting announcement.
