The Boo Bash Dash benefitting CASA is back. It is Springfield’s favorite 5K and one mile fun run. Runners and walkers can enjoy the fall foliage. The 5K race begins at the ballfields in the back of the park and runs along the Greenway until the 2.5K turn around mark. This is a paved course with only minor elevation, perfect for experienced and beginning runners alike! The 5K will be timed by A Matter of Timing using chipped bibs. The Fun Run/Walk will not be timed. Parking will be available at the back of the park near the ballfields, in front of the pavilion.
There will also be a costume contest. It’s Halloween after all! Everyone wearing a costume will be entered. Prizes will be given for first, second, and third place! Bring your friends, bring your kids, bring your dog and have a little fun while exploring one of the most beautiful walking areas in Robertson County!

Be a part of the annual tradition of trick-or-treating in downtown Springfield around the square. Look for the “Trick or Treat Here” signs in the windows of participating businesses.
